Make your own Chocolate Bark

  • Let’s see your chocolate making skills! Join us at 73 Milltown Blvd. every Tuesday in July from 10am – 12pm to make your own Ganong Chocolate Bark! Cost is $5 per participant. Register below!!

Chocolate Fest Family Movie Night (NEW)

  • Time: 8:00 – 10:00pm
  • Location: David Allison Ganong Chocolate Park
  • Description: Help us kick off this year’s festival and join us for family movie night! Come with your family bubble, bring a blanket, and enjoy the film. Popcorn, pop, and water will be available for purchase. Admission is by donation.

Jellybean Fun Run

  • Time: 8:30 – 11:00am
  • Location: David Allison Ganong Chocolate Park
  • Description: Join us for our annual colour run! At designated spots along the route, runners will have colorful chalk dust thrown at them as they pass. Please visit our website to register. Pre-registration online is $5/person. Registration on the day of the event is $7/person. There are three different distances – 1km, 3km, and 5km. Registration for the 5km run will start at 8:30am with the run beginning at 8:45. Registration for the 3km run will start at 9:30am with the run beginning at 9:45. Registration for the 1km run will start at 10:15 with the run beginning at 10:30am.

Chocolate Fest Kid’s Karnival (NEW)

  • Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm
  • Location: David Allison Ganong Chocolate Park
  • Description: Join us in the park for the Chocolate Fest Kid’s Karnival, put on by the Charlotte County IWK Committee. This carnival will run the same as their tradition kids’ carnival – only tickets will be accepted at all food/game booths, so tickets will be available upon entry.

Create Your Own Chocolate Bark

  • Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm
  • Location: 73 Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen (Please enter the building through the side door off the parking lot and follow the signs)
  • Description: Come try your hand at bark making. Choose from a variety of toppings to create your very own chocolate bark. Cost is $2/person upon arrival.

Chocolate Fest Treasure Hunt

  • Time: 12:00 – 5:00pm
  • Location: David Allison Ganong Chocolate Park
  • Description: Gather your team and come to the David Allison Ganong Chocolate Park to get your first clue. From there you will race against the competing teams to complete several clues that will take you all around Canada’s Chocolate Town. Please visit our website to register. Cost is $10/team. When you arrive at the park, you will be required to complete a SWEET task to secure your first clue. *Please note that a car is required for this event.

Chocolate Fest Radio Bingo

  • Time: 7:00 – 8:00pm
  • Location: 98.1 Charlotte FM
  • Description: Pick up your bingo cards and tune into 98.1 Charlotte FM to play a sweet game of Chocolate Fest Radio Bingo.

Sweet Spot Tennis

  • Time: 8:00am – 3:00pm
  • Location: Milltown Tennis Courts, 434 Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen
  • Description: The Sweet Spot Tennis Challenge is for the “net-generation” of players. Skills activity and/or best of 7 short set to determine total points earned for prizes. Pal-O-Mine division for ages 9 and under. Chicken Bone division for youth aged 10+. Youth sized racquets and balls will be furnished for play. Covid protocols observed. Sponsored by Roadrunners Tennis – Herb & Lynda Duplissea and Reed Haley. The rain date for this event will be Thursday, August 5th, 2021.

  • Location: The St. Croix Public Library
  • Description: Join us for an afternoon of creativity with The Great Chocolate Mousse. Create some Chocolate Fest themed crafts while enjoying some sweet treats.  

Kids Dip N’ Paint

  • Time: 6:00 – 7:30pm
  • Location: Ganong Place, 73 Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen (Please enter the building through the side door off the parking lot and follow the signs).
  • Description: Join us for a night of painting fun. Enjoy a variety of sweet treats while you work on your chocolate masterpiece. Please visit our website to register. $15/person.

Pancake Breakfast

  • Time: 8:00 – 10:00am
  • Location: Boys and Girls Club Youth Centre
  • Description: Start your day off right by joining us for a sweet pancake breakfast put on by the Leaders in Training. Cost is $2/person.

Recipe to Riches

  • Time: 11:00am
  • Location: St. Stephen Atlantic Superstore
  • Description: It’s time to get baking, chocolate lovers! Our judges, who just so happen to be chocolate experts, will be there waiting to see all your delicious creations. *Please note that this is not a baking event, all recipes must be made in advance and brought in for judging.

  • Time: 1:00 – 2:30pm

  • Description: You are cordially invited to Tiffany’s afternoon tea party! Please wear your fanciest threads as Tiffany is so excited to see everyone all dressed up. Activities will include creating your own picnic basket and enjoying some “tea” while Tiffany reads a story.

Chocolate Fest Public Swim

  • Time: 1:30 – 5:00pm
  • Location: Milltown Public Pool
  • Description: Looking for a sweet way to cool off? Be sure to stop in at the Milltown pool for Chocolate Fest public swim. You might even see The Great Chocolate Mousse and Tiffany!

Peppermint Patty Bingo & Dinner

  • Time: Doors open at 4:00pm
  • Location: St. Stephen Legion
  • Description: The doors open at 4:00pm and bingo begins at 6:00pm. The meal is a cold plate (salad and deli meat) with homemade chocolate cake with a variety of frostings for dessert. The price is $8.00/person. There will also be door prizes and a quilt draw, along with 50/50 bingo games with one game bonanza.

Mousse on the Loose

  • Time: 5:30 – 7:30pm
  • Location: The Town of St. Stephen
  • Description: Come find us! The Great Chocolate Mousse is on the loose! Track him down by following the clues on the Chocolate Fest Facebook page. Whoever finds us first will get a sweet treat. We will be going to multiple locations so don’t fret if you don’t find us at the first location.

Adult Dip N’ Paint

  • Time: 8:00 – 9:30pm

Chocolate Bar Bingo

  • Time: 9:00 – 10:00am
  • Location: Ganong Place, 73 Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen (Please enter the building through the side door off the parking lot and follow the signs).
  • Description: Joins us for a sweet game of chocolate bar bingo. Bring a chocolate bar and trade it in for a bingo card. Cost is one chocolate bar/bingo card.

Pudding Eating Contest

  • Time: 11:30am – 12:30pm
  • Location: St. Stephen Town Square (Rain location is 73 Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen, in the space beside the Chocolatier, the door right off the parking lot. There will be signs stating where to go for your convenience)
  • Description: Calling all chocolate lovers! Do you think you’re the fastest pudding eater in St. Stephen? Come to the table and show us your speed. Cost is $2/person.

  • Time: 2:30 – 4:00pm
  • Location: David Allison Ganong Chocolate Park
  • Description: We have hidden clues between Dover Hill and the Garcelon Civic Center. Come down to the Chocolate Park to get your first clue and then you’ll be on your way.

Sweet Street Dance with Mark Downey

  • Time: 7:00 – 10:00pm
  • Location: St. Stephen Waterfront (the greenspace beside Pizza Delight).
  • Description: Be sure to come out and help us celebrate the end of the festival by showing us your moves at the Sweet Street Dance with Mark Downey. We look forward to seeing you!

End of Festival Celebration (NEW)

  • Time: 7:00 – 10:00pm
  • Location: St. Stephen Waterfront (the greenspace beside Pizza Delight).
  • Description: Join us for a final celebration of the 2021 festival. In addition to celebrating the end of another sweet festival, we are also celebrating entering the final phase on the path to green, so wear your best green attire and stop in for a cupcake.
